Winter Season in Review
![]()
| We completed our first year in existence by participating in the unofficial (or should I say official-less) winter league. Our first game of the winter season was in early January on a 75 degree day. We won that game 8-2 thanks to a hat trick (the first ever by an Attack player) by Jeff Rae. We then had to wait three or four weeks for our next game which resulted in a 3-3 tie in which John Ramos also scored a hat trick. Again we got rained/snowed out for a few weeks in a row, but were able to play in late Feb. and won 4-1. We won our next two games 3-2 and 7-3 (thanks to another hat trick by Jeff Rae) before having a 0-0 game with Vienna interrupted in the first half by someone from the County kicking us off the field. We ended the winter season 4-0-1 and are riding a seven game unbeaten streak into the first game of the new spring season. |
